Why Campaignly needs Google Ads access
This invite lets Campaignly see and work in the Google Ads account that runs your ads. You send it from Google Ads.
Need to create an account first?
If you do not have a Google Ads account yet, create one, then come back here to send the invite.
What you'll need
- A Google sign-in that can open your Google Ads account
- Admin access on that account, if you want to grant Admin (you can only grant an access level you already have)
- The Campaignly email we sent you, from your Campaignly onboarding message
- About 5 minutes
Invite Campaignly
- Sign in to Google Ads.
- Open the account that runs your ads. If you see several accounts, pick the one with your live campaigns. The account number looks like
123-456-7890. - Open Admin, then Access and security.
- Select the plus button.
- Enter the email address in your Campaignly onboarding message.
- Choose an access level:
- Admin — preferred for onboarding. Campaignly can manage campaigns and account access.
- Standard — Campaignly can view and edit campaigns. Standard cannot add or remove users.
- Select Send invitation.
The address stays under Pending invitations until Campaignly accepts it.
If a manager account already runs your ads
A manager account (sometimes called an MCC) can sit above your Ads account. You can still invite Campaignly on the Ads account itself. Send the invite from Access and security on the account that contains your campaigns. You do not need to create a new manager link for this step.
If something looks wrong
Access and security is missing. You may be in another account, or your own access is read-only. Switch accounts from the account name at the top of Google Ads, or ask an Admin on the account to send the invite.
The invite went to the wrong address. In Access and security, find the pending row and select Revoke. Send a new invite to the email address in your Campaignly onboarding message.
