Why customize your proposal

A branded proposal feels professional and reinforces your agency identity. Clients remember who they're working with. Customization in Campaignly takes minutes and applies to every proposal you send.

Access proposal settings

  1. Go to Settings in your account menu
  2. Select Proposal Branding from the left sidebar
  3. You'll see all customization options on one page

Add your logo

  1. Click Upload Logo in the Logo section
  2. Select an image file (PNG, JPG, or SVG work best)
  3. Recommended size: 200px × 200px or larger
  4. The logo appears at the top of your proposal

Tip: Use a PNG with transparent background for cleaner placement. SVG files scale perfectly on any device.

Set your color scheme

Your proposal uses two colors: a primary color (headers and accents) and a secondary color (highlights and buttons).

  1. Click the color picker next to Primary Color
  2. Choose a color or enter a hex code (e.g., #2E5090)
  3. Repeat for Secondary Color
  4. Click Preview to see changes in real time

The preview shows exactly how colors appear on client proposals.

Customize text and messaging

Company details

  • Company Name: Displays on every proposal
  • Company Website: Links to your site in the proposal footer
  • Contact Email: Where clients send questions about the proposal

Footer message

Add a personal touch with a custom footer line. This might say:

  • "Looking forward to working together"
  • Your phone number and hours
  • A compliance statement

Save and test

  1. Click Save Changes at the bottom
  2. Create a test proposal to review your branding
  3. Share the test with yourself or a colleague
  4. Adjust colors or logo placement if needed

Changes apply immediately to all new proposals. Existing proposals keep their original branding.

Important notes

Logo placement: Logos appear on the cover page and in the header of each section page. Oversized logos get automatically scaled down.

Color contrast: Campaignly checks that your primary and secondary colors have enough contrast for readability. If colors are too similar, you'll see a warning.

Mobile preview: Test how your proposal looks on phones and tablets. Tap the device icons in the preview pane to switch views.

Revert to defaults: If you want to start over, click Reset to Default at the bottom of the page. This removes your custom branding.
