What Google Search Console does

Google Search Console (GSC) shows how your website appears in Google search results. When you connect it to Campaignly, you can see search performance data—clicks, impressions, rankings—without leaving the platform. This is useful for tracking SEO progress across client projects.

What you need

  • A Google account (the one connected to your website's GSC property)
  • Admin or full user access to the Google Search Console property you want to connect
  • Your website already verified in Google Search Console (if it's not, set that up first in GSC directly)

Connect Google Search Console

  1. Go to Integrations in your Campaignly account
  2. Find Google Search Console and click Connect
  3. You'll be taken to Google's login screen. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GSC property
  4. Google will ask for permission to access your Search Console data. Click Allow
  5. You'll be redirected back to Campaignly. Select the website property you want to connect from the dropdown list
  6. Click Confirm

That's it. Campaignly now has access to your GSC data.

Where to find your data

Once connected, GSC data appears in your campaign dashboards and reports. You can:

  • View search impressions and clicks over time
  • See which queries drove traffic
  • Track keyword rankings
  • Monitor indexing issues (if available in your GSC account)

The data typically syncs daily. Historical data goes back 16 months.

Common issues

"I don't see my website in the dropdown" Make sure your Google account has admin access to that GSC property. If you recently added it to GSC, wait a few hours for it to appear in Campaignly.

"The data looks outdated" GSC data syncs once per day, usually overnight. Campaignly pulls fresh data each morning.

"I have multiple properties in GSC" You can connect multiple properties to Campaignly. Just repeat the steps above for each one.

Disconnect or switch accounts

If you need to disconnect GSC or swap to a different Google account:

  1. Go to Integrations
  2. Find Google Search Console and click the menu icon
  3. Select Disconnect
  4. You can reconnect immediately with a different account if needed

Privacy and permissions

Campaignly only reads GSC data—we can't modify your Search Console settings or properties. You control what data gets pulled and can disconnect anytime.
