What is the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is your command center in Campaignly. It shows you a snapshot of your campaigns, client activity, and performance metrics at a glance. When you log in, this is what you see first.
Think of it as your control room — you can monitor what's happening across all your campaigns and clients without digging through menus.
Main Dashboard Sections
Your Campaign Overview
The top of your dashboard displays active campaigns in a card-based layout. Each card shows:
- Campaign name and client
- Current status (running, paused, scheduled, or completed)
- Performance at a glance (clicks, impressions, or conversions — depending on campaign type)
- Quick action buttons to pause, view details, or edit
Campaigns are sorted by most recent activity by default. Use the filter dropdown to sort by status, client, or campaign type instead.
Performance Metrics
Below your campaigns, you'll see key metrics for the selected time period (default is the last 30 days). These include:
- Total impressions across all active campaigns
- Total clicks
- Conversion count (if tracking is enabled)
- Average engagement rate
- Total spend
Use the date range selector in the top right to change the time period. The metrics update instantly.
Client Activity Feed
On the right side, the Activity Feed logs recent actions:
- New campaigns created
- Campaign status changes
- Client updates
- Team member activity
Scan this to stay informed about what your team and clients are doing without needing to ask.
Quick Navigation Menu
The left sidebar gives you access to main areas:
- Campaigns — view all campaigns in list or board view
- Clients — manage client profiles and contact info
- Reports — dive deeper into campaign performance data
- Team — manage team members and permissions
- Settings — account and integration settings
Click any section to navigate. The active section is highlighted.
Navigating Effectively
Pro tip: Bookmark the dashboard URL in your browser. You'll return here often, and bookmarking saves a click.
To drill down into campaign details, click the campaign card or its name. This opens the full campaign view with detailed metrics, audience info, and performance history.
Need help understanding a specific metric? Hover over the info icon (ⓘ) next to any metric name for a brief explanation.
Dashboard Customization Notes
Currently, the dashboard shows all your campaigns by default. If you have many active campaigns, use the Client filter dropdown to narrow the view to a single client's campaigns. This keeps things manageable.
You can't customize which cards or metrics display yet — that's on our roadmap. For now, if you want a focused view of specific campaigns, save a filtered link and use that instead.
