What you can do
Invite team members to your Campaignly organization so they can collaborate on campaigns, manage clients, and access shared resources. You control what each person can see and do by assigning them a role with specific permissions.
Invite a team member
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Click Invite Team Member.
- Enter their email address.
- Select a role from the dropdown (see role descriptions below).
- Click Send Invite.
The person receives an email invitation. They'll create a Campaignly account using that email or log in if they already have one. Once they accept, they're added to your organization.
Understanding roles
Each role comes with preset permissions. You can't customize individual permissions — choose the role that fits what the person needs to do.
Admin
- Full access to all organization settings, team members, and client data
- Can invite, remove, and change roles for other team members
- Can delete the organization
- Best for: Co-founders, account managers running your agency
Editor
- Can create, edit, and launch campaigns
- Can manage clients and view client performance data
- Cannot access team or billing settings
- Best for: Campaign managers, content creators, strategists
Viewer
- Can view campaigns and client data
- Cannot create or edit anything
- Cannot access settings
- Best for: Stakeholders, reporting contacts, clients who need visibility
Client
- Limited to viewing only their own campaigns and performance
- Automatically assigned when you add external clients
- Best for: Your end clients
Manage team members
Change someone's role
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Find the person in the list.
- Click the role dropdown and select a new one.
- Click Save.
Remove someone
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Click the Remove button next to their name.
- Confirm the removal.
They'll lose access to the organization immediately. Any campaigns they were working on stay in your account.
Important notes
- Pending invites expire after 7 days. If someone doesn't accept, you can resend the invite.
- Admins can do everything. Only invite Admins if you trust them completely — they can change your billing and remove team members.
- Email addresses must be unique. One person can't have multiple accounts under different emails in the same organization. If they need access with a different email, remove the old one first.
- No guest access. Everyone invited must have a role and log in to Campaignly.
