What platform connections do
When you connect a platform — Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or LinkedIn — to Campaignly, you can:
- View campaign performance data directly in Campaignly
- Create and manage campaigns without logging into each platform separately
- Track spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions in one place
- Pull reporting data for client dashboards and proposals
You'll need to connect at least one platform to start building campaigns in Campaignly.
Before you start
You'll need:
- Admin access to the ad account you're connecting (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
- The ability to approve app permissions when prompted
- An active Campaignly account
Connect Google Ads
- In Campaignly, go to Settings > Connected Platforms
- Click Connect Google Ads
- You'll be directed to Google's login page. Sign in with the account that manages your Google Ads account
- Review the permissions Campaignly is requesting. Click Allow
- You'll be redirected back to Campaignly. Select the Google Ads account you want to connect from the dropdown
- Click Confirm
Your Google Ads account is now connected. You can start pulling campaign data and creating new campaigns.
Connect Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
- In Campaignly, go to Settings > Connected Platforms
- Click Connect Meta
- Sign in with your Meta/Facebook account
- When prompted, select the Business Account you want to connect
- Approve the permissions Campaignly is requesting
- Select the Ad Account (you may have multiple under one business account)
- Click Confirm
You're all set. Meta is now connected and ready to use.
Connect LinkedIn
- In Campaignly, go to Settings > Connected Platforms
- Click Connect LinkedIn
- Sign in with your LinkedIn account
- Approve Campaignly's access to your LinkedIn Campaign Manager account
- Select the LinkedIn Ad Account you want to use
- Click Confirm
Your LinkedIn account is now connected.
After connecting
Once a platform is connected:
- Data syncs automatically every few hours, so your campaigns and reporting stay current
- You can disconnect anytime in Settings without affecting campaigns on the original platform
- Multiple connections are fine — connect all three platforms if you manage accounts across channels
Troubleshooting
"Permission denied" error? Make sure you're signing in with an account that has admin access to the ad account. If someone else manages the account, ask them to approve the connection or grant you admin rights first.
Data not showing up? Wait 2–3 hours for the first sync. If data still isn't appearing, disconnect and reconnect the platform.
Can't see all my ad accounts? Only ad accounts you have direct admin access to will appear in the dropdown. Check your permissions in the original platform (Google Ads Manager, Meta Business Manager, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
