What are brands and products?

Brands and products help you organize what you're promoting in Campaignly. A brand is the company or entity (like "Joe's Coffee Shop"). Products are the specific items or services you're marketing (like "Seasonal Latte" or "Pastry Bundle"). Adding them makes your campaigns clearer and helps you track performance by what you're actually selling.

Adding a brand

Brands are set up at the account level, so you only need to add each one once.

  1. Go to Settings in the main navigation.
  2. Select Brands from the left menu.
  3. Click Add Brand.
  4. Enter the brand name.
  5. (Optional) Add a logo by clicking the image icon. This helps visually identify the brand in your campaigns.
  6. Click Save.

The brand is now available across all your campaigns.

Adding products to a campaign

Products live within individual campaigns and tie to a specific brand.

  1. Open the campaign you want to edit.
  2. Go to the Products tab.
  3. Click Add Product.
  4. Fill in the product details:
    • Product name — what you're promoting
    • Brand — select from your saved brands
    • Description — optional, but helpful for your team
    • Category — organize by type (optional)
  5. Click Save.

Repeat for each product in this campaign. You can add as many as you need.

Editing and removing products

To edit: Click the product name in the Products tab, update the details, and save.

To remove: Click the three-dot menu next to the product and select Delete. This won't affect past campaign performance data — it just removes it from future use in this campaign.

Important notes

  • Products are campaign-specific. A product only exists within the campaign where you created it. If you need the same product in another campaign, you'll add it again.
  • Brands are account-wide. Once you add a brand in Settings, it's available in every campaign.
  • You don't have to use products. If you're running a simple campaign, you can skip this. They're optional but useful for tracking.
  • Products help with reporting. If you add products, your campaign reports will show performance broken down by product. This makes it easier to see what resonates with your audience.

Quick tip

Set up your brands first in Settings, then add products when you create each campaign. This keeps things organized and saves time if you're running multiple campaigns for the same brand.
